Full-Time Security Guard - AMPM Security Specialist Location:
Daly City, CA We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Full-Time Security Guard - at our client's cannabis dispensary in Daly City, CA.
As an AMPM Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our staff, customers, and premises.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors by implementing effective security measures.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both inside and outside, to prevent and detect any security breaches or suspicious activities.
Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service while enforcing dispensary policies and procedures.
Check identification and verify legal age and eligibility of customers to ensure compliance with state regulations.
Collaborate with management and team members to develop and implement security protocols and emergency response plans.
Report any security incidents, accidents, or policy violations to the appropriate authorities and document them accurately.
Handle security-related incidents calmly and professionally, diffusing any potential conflicts or situations effectively.
Assist with inventory control and loss prevention efforts to minimize theft, pilferage, and unauthorized access.
Stay updated with current laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cannabis dispensary security.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid California Guard Card Previous experience in security is strongly preferred.
Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
A strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and maintaining confidentiality.
