- A small somewhat chill, occasionally busy dermatology/path office (mostly derm).
We are looking to hire one or two people with different skills for approx.
8-25 hours/week.
Full time might be an option for the right person.
We try to pay a little more but expect a little more awesomeness.
Ability to work different days as needed desirable but we will try to work with your preferences, one sat a month (some months) - Some mostly easy things to do to keep our office running smoothly (friendly patient check in, take history, and detailed documentation during patient visits with doctor/provider, general support for doctors, answer phones, schedule patients, fax and send prescriptions, check messages, keep things clean and stocked, get along with your coworkers) - Although mostly easy, for better or worse it is real medicine in a small office so there are very real responsibilities both to patients and coworkers who will need to be able to always count on you.

YOU HAVE:
-The motivation to learn/continually improve both yourself and the workplace, and are somewhat flexible, and safe.
-Reasonably good people skills, good typing ability and pretty high energy, pretty low attitude, with a stable good mood.
-Some interest in dermatology/medicine/ helping people/making life easier and more fun for your coworkers Did we mention you will be expected to try to have fun, learn, support your coworkers and work while you are at work? MIGHT BE IDEAL FOR SOMEONE:
Going to or planning on going to med in a gap year/nursing school/PA school (great recommendations likely) Experienced medical assistant looking for extra hours.
With a college degree / some college/ science background and good grades With an interest in cosmetics/ skin care/dermatology Experience in customer service or marketing including server/ starbucks/receptionist/scheduling/taking phone calls Experienced as an administrative or executive assistant Who volunteered for something nice like making sandwiches for the homeless or helping at an animal shelter etc.
Someone with several of the above might be even more ideal.
